According to Arizona Sports’ Kellan Olson, the Phoenix Suns will be without starting center Deandre Ayton for tonight’s match against the San Antonio Spurs because of a right ankle sprain.
Deandre Ayton is out for the Suns against Spurs today with a sprained right ankle.
Cam Johnson is ruled likely after missing the last three games with a left ankle sprain.

Ayton suffered the injury in Sunday’s Detroit Pistons win, which lasted just seven minutes. The upcoming free agent has already missed 13 games this season, including a stint in the league’s health and safety protocols. When active, he was solid, posting averages of 16.8 PPG and 10.6 RPG. No word on who will take Ayton’s spot on the starting line-up, but expect more minutes for JaVale McGee and Jalen Smith. Meanwhile, Devin Booker and Chris Paul become strong DFS targets with additional usage. Fanduel has Booker and Paul at a cost of $8,100 and $8,000 respectively.
However, Phoenix received some good news as Olson also reports that forward Cam Johnson, who has missed the last three games with a left ankle sprain, is considered likely. Johnson made a major contribution off the bench with a career-high average of 11.9 PPG. He too makes for an enticing play on Fanduel at just $6,000.
Fanduel Sportsbook currently has the Suns as their street favorites at -3.5 points and -164 on the money line.
