Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirms during a PlayStation interview that the open-world ARPG will feature multiple endings and New Game Plus.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of elden ring since its announcement during E3 2019. After FromSoftware’s long period of radio silence, the studio finally settled on a release date last June and is now less than a month away from releasing the game.

All five games also feature a New Game Plus mode for players interested in a more challenging and rewarding second playthrough. Therefore, Miyazaki’s statement is not new information, but a confirmation of what many have already expected.
Still, it’s good to have an official statement, even if it’s not surprising. Also, that wasn’t Miyazaki’s only comment on the upcoming game. The game will also offer players more ways to deal with its various challenges. These are some of the reasons why Miyazaki believes a larger proportion of players will finish elden ring.
As for the atmosphere of the game, elden ring is much more colorful than other From Software titles. According to Miyazaki, From Software wants the game to have a more welcoming atmosphere that encourages players to explore off the beaten track. There are also elden ring a more painterly aesthetic that the developers feel is better for setting the game in a high-fantasy realm in decline. Miyazaki assures fans of this, however elden ring darker, more intense moments are not missing.
