Thanks to a recent leak, we now know when the Fortnite Season 7 Live Event will take place and when Season 8 will begin.
Fortnite is known for its eye-catching and exciting live events. Whether at the beginning or at the end of a season, these events are an unforgettable spectacle.
These live events have evolved over time. They began with a live rocket launch in Chapter 1, Season 4. And now, players are being taken on immersive journeys ahead of Ariana Grande and Travis Scott.
However, the most exciting events are those that focus on the plot of the game. The events that end the seasons are among the most anticipated. And luckily, season 7 has a Fortnite live event.
Will there be a Fortnite Season 7 live event?
This event will mark the end of the battle between The IO and the aliens. However, we don’t know exactly what will happen. However, we can expect it to be big as it is supposed to make big changes to the Season 8 map.
Date and time of the season 7 live event
Operation Sky Fire takes place around. instead of 4:00 p.m. EST At September 12, 2021. Players should register with Fortnite at least 15 to 30 minutes before the event. This ensures that players can reserve their seats.
This event only happens once so don’t miss it. In addition, no reruns of the event are available. So make sure you record during the event.
What happens during the Season 7 Live Event?
We don’t know for sure, but we can make educated guesses based on the story that leads to the end. We know that Doctor Slone placed several explosive devices under the Corny Complex.
Corny Complex is currently being kidnapped from the mothership. Slone’s plan is to detonate the explosives once it’s in the mothership. However, the event can go in two ways.
Either Slone will succeed and the Corny Complex will be completely kidnapped. Or the aliens could see that the explosives are under the Corny Complex and drop the POI. We’ll also see how the Zero Point fits into the plot since it was also kidnapped.
Fortnite Season 8 start date
Fortnite Season 8 starts sometime between the end of the live event and August 13th. Immediately after the live event, Fortnite servers will be taken offline. This is for season 8 downtime.
We don’t know if Epic Games will keep the servers offline longer than usual due to the new season. However, the downtime usually lasts 3 to 4 hours. That means players can expect Season 8 to begin four hours after the live event.
