Leaks suggest so Pokémon Legends: Arceus Shiny Starters may be locked, preventing players from resetting the latest Pokemon game on Switch to get one of these rare Shiny variants. Similar to the final games in the series, like last year’s Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokemon Legends: Arceus Shiny is a little more difficult to hunt, as players will have to put in a little more effort to get them – if the new ones leaked are accurate .
Are Pokemon Legends: Arceus Shiny Starters locked?
Shiny Starter Pokemon appears to be included in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, at least according to several leakers.
While the latest Pokemon RPG isn’t due out until tomorrow, it seems some people have either early copies or access to information about the game. leakers such as CentroLeaks and Abyzab say the rare Shiny variants of Pokemon are locked as starters based on information obtained from either using cheats or datamining the Arceus source code.
All of this means that determined players can’t keep resetting Pokemon Legends: Arceus to get the rarer Shiny Pokemon as a starter, as was possible in previous Pokemon games. Instead, Shiny Pokemon can only be found in the wild, potentially with the usual massive odds of 1 in 4096 – although there may be in-game ways to increase this.
I know you want to hear them all, and I finally feel very confident about sharing my research.
Glossy Locked:
– Appetizers. Both when first catching and when selecting.
– Dialga and Palkia.
– Darkrai, Shamin, Manaphy and Phione are all locked.
– Everything unknownBased on code observations.

Additionally, according to Abyzab, the game’s code indicates that Legendary Pokémon like Dialga and Palkia and Mythical Pokémon like Darkrai, Shamin, Manaphy, and Phione are also locked, so they’ll also be harder to come by. Of course, with Pokemon Legends: Arceus out tomorrow, players will be able to find out for themselves very soon.
You have, which is one of the main reasons I feel the need to speak up. Your results seem to rely on using some kind of cheat code to change values.
Mine is purely by following the code with no modifications made.
I haven’t tested anything that isn’t mentioned— Abyzab (@Abyzabwastaken) January 26, 2022
