NAPA, Calif., May 17, 2022 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Jameson Humane (Jameson), a solutions-based nonprofit animal shelter that educates to inspire change in the name of pets and livestock, is hosting its unique fundraiser, WineaPAWlooza 2022, live and in person on Friday , June 24 and Saturday, June 25 at 5 p.m. PT. Combining two things that are universally loved (wine and animals), WineaPAWlooza has earned its place as one of the top 10 wine events in the country as cited by Wine Spectator magazine. The money raised from this spirited and highly anticipated event provides the critical funds needed for Jameson programs to improve the state of animal welfare and save lives.

Innovators from the food and wine industry are participating in this year’s impact fundraiser

This latest installment of Jameson’s annual fundraiser extends Jameson’s mission of improving animal welfare through global collaboration and education for the benefit of all life. Friday night, Pritchard Hill will bring together leaders from the food and wine industry to discuss innovation, behavior and action-driven change in our food system, including wine – for the health of animals, people and the planet. SommVivant’s Amanda McCrossin and CNET’s Brian Cooley will co-moderate a panel featuring renowned winemakers and food industry leaders on June 24 from 5pm to 7:30pm. The cuisine is curated by Little Saint, a plant-based restaurant in Healdsburg, led by three-Michelin-star SingleThread’s Kyle Connaughton.

Saturday night, again held in-person at the famed Beckstoffer Farm Center this year, includes the Grand Tasting, showcasing craft wines and the winemakers who make them from 50 of the “Who’s Who” of Napa and Sonoma Valley wine glitterati (click here to see participating winemakers), plus special guest Christie Brinkley presenting her vegan Bellissima Prosecco.

The legendary animal parade will be led by famed wine auctioneer and personality Fritz Hatton, followed by a delicious plant-based menu designed and executed by Goatlandia. The evening will culminate with the highly anticipated live auction of 20 spectacular lots featuring iconic wines, unique experiences and voyages to wine destinations around the world.
