Google has done nothing short of getting to the heart of it in terms of wallpapers lately, and we’re not even talking about the beautiful magic that Material You is. Pixel phones have access to a stunning selection of exclusive wallpapers, and today we’re taking a look at the latest set as Google releases some super bright designs celebrating International Disabled People’s Day.
We’ve seen Google release some great, socially conscious wallpaper collections in the past few months, with sets released in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Mental Health Awareness Day, and most recently National Native American Heritage Month. We can now add these three new designs by First Nations artist Dana Kearley.
Of course, Google’s efforts to help people with disabilities go way beyond some awareness-raising wallpapers, and the company continues to impress us with some powerful software tools that help create a level playing field for everyone. For example, earlier this week we saw Chrome’s automatic captioning system expand to support a number of new languages.
You can check all of this out for yourself in the Curated Culture section of the Google Wallpapers app on Pixel smartphones.
You will enjoy waking up and turning around with these gadgets
