The ESRB has the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions of. rated The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Although we have known for some time that both new consoles will receive an updated version of the action RPG, developer CD Projekt Red has yet to detail what kind of improvements players should look forward to.
The rating, discovered by Gematsu, was released today for the Game of the Year Edition. This usually suggests that an official announcement is around the corner, and since CD Projekt Red – last heard this – plans to release this version before the end of the year, we probably won’t wait long to find out more .
However, the developer recently stated that it could slide into 2022 as it doesn’t want to repeat Cyberpunk’s disastrous start in 2077.

At the WitcherCon in the summer, CD Projekt Red announced that the Complete Edition will include some Netflix Witcher-inspired DLC – thought no further. The updated version, which will also be released for the PC, will be free of charge for existing owners on all platforms.
During development, the studio hooked up with one of the game’s most prolific modders, possibly in some way to incorporate his highly rated work into the game.
So far, CDPR hasn’t touched this re-release of Witcher 3 as the developer continues to release patches for Cyberpunk 2077.
