Each year, call of Duty is a surefire bet on the biggest game of the holiday season and its upcoming eighteenth entry Call of Duty: Vanguard is forming to follow this example. Although a new game has been released every year since 2005, the quality of these titles has remained pretty consistent, with a few notable exceptions. Thank God, Call of Duty: Vanguard appears to be a return to the series‘ roots in WWII, but with some modern day quality of life improvements.
There are a number of design options and additional content that we hope will be discontinued Call of Duty: Vanguard apart from its competitors and 2017 Call of Duty: WW2. Before, call of Duty Fans struggle to justify full price when entries like Black Ops 4 didn’t have a campaign mode or when Modern Warfare Launched in 2019 with exclusive PlayStation modes. Call of Duty: Vanguard will start with a complete package: Campaign, Zombies and Multiplayer and no PlayStation-exclusive modes.
Call of Duty: Vanguard – Old settings remade
Though it takes place in World War II, a setting many fans may be fed up with, Call of Duty: Vanguard will take a different approach to his storytelling. The plot focuses on the deployment of various special forces at the end of the war on all four fronts. Usually the games that are played during this time focus on either the Pacific or European fronts, however Call of Duty: Vanguards Campaign will have both, in addition to the often forgotten African front. This should give a much more coherent and diverse view of World War II and how many lives it affected.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will break with tradition a little thanks to its four main protagonists. Each of these four come from one of the Allied Nation’s armed forces and will team up to form Task Force One. In addition, all playable characters are from real war heroes like Lt. Polina Petrova, who is based on the Russian sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko, also known as “Lady Death”.
Treyarch develops the zombies mode
Typically call of Duty Games follow a similar release and development schedule, with Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games taking turns developing the entire entry with assistance from Raven Software. Treyarch is best known for the fan-favorite Zombies mode, which was already developed in Call of Duty: The World at War, and every game developed by Treyarch has expanded this mode.
Since Treyarch developed the previous entry, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold WarMany fans expected to wait at least one more entry before finishing the Dark Aether storyline. In another break with tradition, Call of Duty: Vanguard would not only have its own full-fledged zombies mode, but would also be developed and supported by Treyarch for the next year. At the start there will only be one card for the Zombies mode called “The Beginning” or “The Beginning”.
Call of Duty Vanguards Multiplayer
As Call of Duty: Vanguard was developed with the 2019 Modern Warfare Engine will return many of these gameplay elements and expand them in all three modes. This includes attaching weapons in the field as well as blind fire from cover and more interactive terrain. The latter addition in particular should make it much more difficult to linger in one place than before Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
However, the pace of multiplayer still largely depends on the cards, and vanguard will have twenty at start, most of all call of Duty Game. Sixteen of these will be the traditional 6v6 mode, and four will be for the brand new Champion Hill, a round robin deathmatch where one to three teams will be the last to win.
Another completely new feature for Call of Duty: Vanguards Multiplayer is the battle pace option within matchmaking. This allows players to choose between three predefined ways to play the game’s multiplayer maps; Tactics, attack and lightning. Tactically, the traditional six players per team are with each speed increase doubling the number of players to 24v24. This allows for even more game options call of Duty However the player wants and if he is looking for a change, the tempo can be switched to “All” for a wider experience.
Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Warzone integration
At the start, Call of Duty: Vanguard is fully integrated in Warzones pre-existing card, Verdansk, as well as Black Ops: Cold War was. This means that the meta is getting quite mixed up with the introduction of new WWII-era weapons, some of which can now be used in the game. This means there will be three games worth of weapons within the War zone Client and almost unlimited possibilities when creating a loadout. In addition, all activated operators, skins and cosmetics are fully usable in War zone and his big update for season 1.
The most exciting integration for vanguard and War zone, the mode’s first new map, won’t be released until a month after it launches on December 2nd. War zone will be renamed to Warzone Pacific, and Verdansk is replaced by Caldera. The two are roughly the same size, but that’s where the similarities end. Caldera is much more lush by comparison, with fewer buildings and all modern vehicles replaced with their World War II equivalents.
There will also be a new mode called Vanguard Royale, which is essentially the new map with weapons only from Call of Duty: Vanguard. This will allow for a much clearer meta and make balancing problematic / underperforming weapons a lot easier.
The last big change will make PC gamers especially happy: As with Call of Duty: Vanguard, War zone will get a full-fledged anti-cheat system called Richochet. This should make it a lot easier to find fair lobbies on the platform, and it’s certainly a welcome addition for PC gamers and cross-platform.
Call of Duty: Vanguard as a whole is becoming one of the largest and most complete packages the series has seen in a very long time. Everything from the campaign to zombies to multiplayer and War zone will be improved and revised.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on November 5, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
